Tom Blake (Thomas Clinton Blake) was born on July 19, 1927 in Bushton, Illinois. After going to high school at Middletown (OH), Blake attended the University of Cincinnati and the University of Tennessee. Blake made his professional debut in the NFL in 1949 with the New York Bulldogs. He played for the New York Bulldogs for his entire 1 year career.
