Tom Beutler (Thomas Joseph Beutler) was born on September 29, 1946 in Bluffton, Ohio. After going to high school at Central Catholic (Toledo, OH), Beutler attended the University of Toledo. Beutler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Baltimore Colts and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 2 year career.
