Tom Beckman (Thomas Clare Beckman) was born on September 21, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. After going to high school at Chesaning (MI), Beckman attended the University of Michigan. Beckman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
