Tom Beard (Jr. Beard. Thomas LeRoy) was born on June 10, 1948 in Findlay, Ohio. After going to high school at Central (Battle Creek, MI), Beard attended Michigan State University. Beard made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 1 year career.
