Tom Baldwin (Thomas Burke Baldwin) was born on May 13, 1961 in Evergreen Park, Illinois. After going to high school at Thornton Fractional South (Thornton, IL), Baldwin attended South Suburban College, the University of Tulsa and the University of Wisconsin. Baldwin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1985 was Tom Baldwin's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
