Tom Ashworth (Thomas F. Ashworth) was born on October 10, 1977 in Denver, Colorado. After going to high school at Cherry Creek (Englewood, CO), Ashworth attended the University of Colorado. Ashworth made his professional debut in the NFL in 2002 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots for his entire 3 year career.
