Man, this might be the toughest time of year to be a sports fan. With both the NBA and yes the NHL Playoffs in full swing, it’s very difficult on the body…From an emotional standout combined with a lot of sleep depravation these are truly the darkest days before summer dawns. Unfortunately depending on which team(s) one paints the face and acts all retarded for life is really good as in Hugh Hefner good or really bad as in Don Imus bad. In my own personal case being a Chicago Bulls fan…Well the days can’t get much darker as the Bulls season will likely end tonight in Auburn Hills.
Then again, there are some fans who refuse to give up, by no means am I saying I’m throwing in the towel…I’m just look at the reality of the task that lies ahead. As big as the Bulls task might be, for the Buffalo Sabres the mountain to climb might be even greater as they find themselves down 3-0 to the Ottawa Senators. Although most Sabres fan might be ready to make like a bird and go take a flying leap into Niagara Falls…Leave it to the young fans at heart to keep the faith! Who would welcome a Game Five back in Buffalo so the can greet Ray Emery just as this toddler seems to be ready to do. Take a listen!
