Born on August 30, 1978 in Louisville, Kentucky, Todd Wellemeyer (Todd Allen Wellemeyer) played for the Chicago Cubs, Kansas City Royals and Florida Marlins over the course of his 4 year career. Wellemeyer broke into the bigs on May 15, 2003 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 4.14 ERA in 78.1 innings pitched in 2006, his rookie year.
