Todd Shell (Todd Andrew Shell) was born on June 24, 1962 in Mesa, Arizona. After going to high school at Mountain View (Mesa, AZ), Shell attended Brigham Young University. Shell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1984 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1984 was Todd Shell's best year, as he picked off 3 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
