Todd Cruz (Todd Ruben Cruz) was born on November 23, 1955 in Highland Park, Michigan. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1978 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1980, his rookie year, he hit .237 with 3 home runs and 23 RBI. Cruz played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Kansas City Royals, Chicago White Sox, California Angels, Seattle Mariners and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Todd Cruz's best season was 1982, when he slugged 16 home runs and knocked in 57 runs.
