Todd Benzinger (Todd Eric Benzinger) was born on February 11, 1963 in Dayton, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on June 21, 1987 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1987, his rookie year, he hit .278 with 8 home runs and 43 RBI. Benzinger played for the Boston Red Sox, Cincinnati Reds, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Todd Benzinger's best season was 1989, when he slugged 17 home runs and knocked in 76 runs.
