[edit] Biography

Toby Harrah (Colbert Dale Harrah) was born on October 26, 1948 in Sissonville, West Virginia. He made his Major League debut on September 5, 1969 for the Washington Senators. In 1971, his rookie year, he hit .230 with 2 home runs and 22 RBI. Harrah played for the Washington Senators, Texas Rangers, Cleveland Indians and New York Yankees over the course of his 17 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Toby Harrah's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1982, when he slugged 25 home runs, hit for a .304 average and knocked in 78 runs. However, others believe that it was 1977, when he slugged 27 home runs, stole 27 bases and knocked in 87 runs.
