Time to play together?

It looks as though the NHL is about to start to allow NHL teams to start playing with each other again! After the lockout, NHL teams ended up with some weird schedules:

"....consisting of eight games against each divisional opponent and only 10 total against non-conference opponents. Teams play one out-of-conference division at home and another on the road -- leaving five teams completely off the schedule."

Take a look at these articles on Yahoo Sports and Fox Sports that look at the NHL's decision to try and re-balance the schedules.

Do you want to return to the old way of playing our opponents, or are you happy with the schedule the way it is? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

As a Penguins fan I must say that it did help us that we played the Flyers 8 times last season. But I would like to see a bit more balanced schedule.

I think it's ridiculous that given so many games, we don't see some teams at all. It's high time to balance the schedules and at least play everybody once.
