Born on May 31, 1969 in Shreveport, Louisiana, Tim VanEgmond (Timothy Layne VanEgmond) played for the Boston Red Sox and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 3 year career. VanEgmond broke into the bigs on June 26, 1994 with the Boston Red Sox, and put up a 5.27 ERA in 54.2 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.
