Tim Thompson

Tim Thompson (Charles Lemoine Thompson) was born on March 1, 1924 in Coalport, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 28, 1954 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. In 1956, his rookie year, he hit .272 with 1 home run and 27 RBI. Thompson played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Kansas City Athletics and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 4 year career.
