Tim Newman (Timothy Newman) was born on June 11, 1964 in Charlotte, North Carolina. After going to high school at Olympic (Charlotte, NC), Newman attended Johnson C. Smith University. Newman made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 1 year career.
