Born on March 17, 1956 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Tim Lollar (William Timothy Lollar) played for the New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, Chicago White Sox and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 7 year career. Lollar broke into the bigs on June 28, 1980 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 6.10 ERA in 76.2 innings pitched in 1981, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Tim Lollar's best season was 1982, when he posted a 3.13 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 150 batters.
