"I'm looking for a second chance and trying to clean up my image. I haven't been in trouble with drugs or guns. I'm an upstanding citizen. Like I told my children, life is not easy. This is a big bump I have to overcome. I'm going to deal with it like a champ. I've got to make sure people know I don't hate gay people." And with that Tim Hardaway is looking for a second chance to clean up his image. I suppose we took his words out of context? Perhaps we needed to read between the lines a little, now did we? You know I always seem to forget the definition of the word hate. When does that word come into play, Tim?
Let’s see, "HATE", (1) the emotion of hate; a feeling of dislike so strong that it demands action. (2) Hate or hatred is an emotion of intense revulsion, distaste, enmity, or antipathy for a person, thing, or phenomenon; a desire to avoid, restrict, remove, or destroy its object. (3) Obsessive dislike accompanied by restraint and character. Tim, since I feel sorry for your lack of having any marbles in your head, I’ll even use it in a sentence…I hate Mexican food". Notice I said FOOD! Now Tim, which definition of the word "HATE" were you trying to use…1, 2, 3? And now you want a second chance to clean up your image…Wouldn’t have been better to keep your pie hole shut in the first place, instead of trying to get both of your Air Force Ones out of your hot air trap?
Yes, this is a country of second chances…It seems like athletes time and time again are always getting them, O.J. is living proof of that, but on what grounds should you be getting one? I’ll take your situation one step further…I wonder what the reaction would’ve been if some dumbass white boy went on the national airwaves and said he hated all black people? Yeah, I wonder what kind of notice that would have gotten…Oh yeah, silly me, probably the same thing you’re dealing with! On second thought, I take that back…The reality of it would be much worse! And don’t kid yourself Tim, if that did happen, you would be one of the ones wanting and waiting to crucify that ignorant white boy. Not even Borrat would get a pass for saying that shit!
The reaction was "very, very shocking. I haven't been in trouble with drugs or guns. I'm an upstanding citizen. Like I told my children, life is not easy. This is a big bump I have to overcome. I'm going to deal with it like a champ. I've got to make sure people know I don't hate gay people." So if you were some kind of gang banger…Some kind of drug dealer around the corner from America Airlines Arena, you could then understand where all this backlash was coming from, right? Or would your comments be then acceptable? Which one is it Tim…Please clarify this, I don’t want to misunderstand your words again! Although being "an upstanding citizen" you’re a bit perplexed by all this. I hate, (no pun intended) to inform you Timmy, if you were indeed the "upstanding citizen" you wouldn’t have to inform people that you are indeed that! Is it just me, but would an "upstanding citizen" even think that, much less say it…I’m thinking, um, NO! Now, you want to make sure people know that he really doesn't hate gay people…Oh shit, it just came to me. It was an April Fools Joke, boy that came early this year, didn’t it? Although the only fool I see here is you, TH!
However, this supposed change of heart towards the gay community…Honestly it’s just only to try and help you, nobody else. Now that your image has been simmered not only nationally, but globally it’s merely just a whole publicity stunt when you’ve announced your plans to meet with a gay organization to explain why he said what he said and to try to learn their perspective. "To try to learn their perspective," why do you even care about their perspective? Remember, you "HATE" them! Let’s cut the shit here, like we all don’t know this move is strictly to help you out and the mess you find yourself in. There’s nobody alive to day that can change from being a close minded person like yourself to one of being open minded in less than a month! We aren’t made like that…It’s not humanly possible, so who are you kidding? Nobody, but yourself!
So Heat coach Pat Riley said Tuesday night that he believes Hardaway will be forgiven one day and that his number will be retired by the Heat someday. Always knew that Riles was one smart Padre! However, might I make a suggestion for that…If and when that day comes, instead of putting HARDAWAY on the back of the jersey, perhaps it should read…"MISUNDERSTOOD", "HOMOPHOBIC"…No, no, I got it! "HE HATE ME"! Tim, I just got one question for you…How do you feel about Cubans, Haitians, Brazilians, Colombians, etc., do you hate them too? Might want to think about moving out of Miami if you do…Just a suggestion, but please don’t misinterpret it or take it out of context. For I wouldn’t want you to get the wrong idea there, TH!
