Bottom 1st – Granderson & Polanco pull off the double steal… Granderson scores on Ordonez’s ground out… Shelton singles to center scoring Polanco. 2-2

Top 3rd – Rolen sacs to center Eckstein scores… Encarnacion sacs to left Spiezio scores. 4-2

Top 4th – Bright spot for Rogers – he throws his first 1-2-3 inning of the game.

Bottom 4th – Granderson singles scoring Inge… 4-3

Top 5th – Pujols grounds out Eckstein scores… 5-3

Top 6th – Luna scores on Miles’s double… Colon comes in to relieve Rogers… 6-3

Bottom 6th – Wainwright comes in to relieve Suppan… Vance Wilson smacks his 3rd HR (solo) of the year on a breaking ball to left… 6-4

Top 7th – Shelton’s bright spot of the day – after grounding into 2 double plays of the day, he makes up for those f.u.b.a.r.’s with his defense – Pujols hits a liner towards the gap in between 1st & 2nd – Shelton dives and snags it – great catch! Still 6-4

Top 8th – Scary situation for Tigers – After Luna flies out to left, Molina singles, Miles singles & Eckstein walks loading the bases… Walker now relieves Colon… First pitch for Walker, Spiezo flies out to Ordonez… next up the always dangerous Pujols… Leyland wastes no time – he pulls out Walker who did his job and brings in Jason Grilli… On the 4th pitch, Pujols sends a towing shot to center – Granderson caught it – 3rd out! Bottom 10th – After getting 2 outs (Wilson & Inge), LaRussa pulls out Izzy… brings in Tyler Johnson… Granderson walks... Polanco doubles - scoring Granderson! Tigers win baby!

All I have to say is what a ball game!!! What a hell of a comeback & win!! I think it's time to buy stock in Big League Chew! I know it's a huge seller for the Tigers... now it appears the fans will be buying it as well!

Once again, the Tigers beat the Cards 7-6! Very nice!!
