Tides Announce 2006 Managerial Staff

The Norfolk Tides, AAA affiliate of the New York Mets, announced their coaching staff for the 2006 season. 2005 Minor League Manager of the Year Ken Oberkfell will return as Tides manager. Also returning is batting coach Howard Johnson. The Tides' newly-named pitching coach is Randy Neimann, who replaces Dan Warthen. Warthen left recently to become bullpen coach of the Los Angeles Dodgers.
