Thoughts on the NFL Draft

We are on the eve of the NFL draft and every draftnick has his/her mockdraft listed. What percentage of players actually end up in the slots that these "experts" suggest. There is no other sporting event devoid of action that generates as much interest. I tend to fall into the camp that generally teams should pick the best player available. With the exeption of the Colts and Pats there are very few teams in the position to pick for positional need and the Pats in particular mold their system to accomodate their personel then having the players fit the system. That being said there are really only 5-8 impact players each year and hopefully my team the Pats will acquire one.
