Tom Miller (Thomas P. Miller) was born on 1850 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on October 24, 1874 for the Philadelphia Athletics. In 1875, his rookie year, he hit .164 with 0 home runs and 12 RBI. Miller played for the Philadelphia Athletics and St. Louis Brown Stockings over the course of his 2 year career.
