...will NOT be Harry Redknapp.
Some people have been putting forward the view that England should stick with an English manager, that the arrogance of Mourinho or the tactical abilities of Capello would bring nothing to our game. No, instead we need someone whos heart is in it, who's not just there to make themselves a few quid, someone honest, Sam Allardyce? Steve Coppell? How about Harry Redknapp, he's done a good job a Portsmouth hasn't he??
.....errrrrr.......maybe not, considering he's been taken into custody today by the Metropolitan Police on charges of corruption which seem to be something to do with match-fixing, suspicious transfers and all round being a generally dodgy bloke.

UPDATE - 29/11/07 - Apparently Harry's not in too much trouble - link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/7118432.stm - hopefully it's enough to keep him away from the England team though!
Still, his daughter-in-law is fit so here's a picture of her....
