The Browns won, The Indians are in the playoffs... Something bad has to happen to Cleveland sports soon, the Cavs better put Lebron in witness protection.

As someone who went to school in Cinci and knows too many Cleveland fans. I just have to say history shows something will happen.

They have qualifying offers on the table for Pavlovic and Verajao. They are both free agents and no other team has made them an offer. What does that say about the difference between their perceived value (by themselves and their agents) and their actual value (what an NBA team will actually pay them)? The Cavs are strapped up against the cap, and nobody wants their expensive spare parts like Donyell Marshall and Damon Jones. Larry Hughes could have value to the right team, but he's also way overpriced. There weren't many moves that the Cavs could make given their situation, and that in order to make a trade, you have to have a willing partner. What NBA team is going to step up and make a trade that makes the Cavs, with LBJ, better?

True enough, but if they keep having offseasons like this, I wouldn't blame LeBron for bolting when his contract is up.

Cleveland/NY should be a great series. The Yanks went 6-0 against Cleveland during the regular season, but the Indians have two Cy Young candidates opening the series for them at Jacobs Field, where they went 52-29 this year. On the other side of the coin, you got the Yankees and that tremendous offense. Will A-Rod finally produce in October? It will be compelling to find out...
