The Ultimate Fantasy Game?

I may have found one of the best fantasy sports games on the Internet, which can be played by anybody.
It is called "Sportdaq", and is basically a sporting stock exchange (with fictional money, of course!). It is made on the BBC website.
It is quite complicated, but basically, it works like the stock market.
You start off with £10,000. You can buy shares of sportsmen and women in a variety of sports, Football (soccer), Rugby, Cricket, Snooker, Tennis, Golf, etc. The price of the shares goes up if more people possess them, just like in real life. You try to buy the shares that will make the most news through the week. If you hold shares from Sunday -> Thursday, you will be paid dividens depending on the number of column inches are devoted to that player in the newspaper.
Also, there are win bonuses. An example of a current win bonus, is the Winner of the Womens Singles at Wimbledon. You then go to the tennis page, and buy shares in the person you think will win. (If people share your opinion, they will also buy shares, so the share price will go up. This will make money when you sell it). Not only getting the win bonus, if in this example, the player wins Wimbledon, chances are they will have a lot written about them in the newspapers.
Having used it for a couple of weeks, I have already doubled my money, and have a ranking in the tens of thousands (it is based on the last 7 days results).
What do you all think of that site - the link is http://www.bbc.co.uk/sportdaq if you want more info, or a look around.
P.S. You can even start a League on there. If people are interested, perhaps I could form an ArmchairGM League. Any thoughts? (I guess the British sport bias may put people off.)
Is there a US equivalent?
