The Seattle Seahawks are in a Catch 22

We are unlucky bastards. Before the season started, we looked at the schedule, and the Saints, Bears, and Eagles all looked like tough matchups. So the Hawks are 3-1, and have now injured the opposing QB for the 2nd time in 4 weeks, facing the Steelers. If they win the game, it's a catch-22. Because if they win, the "experts" will say that it wasn't impressive because Troy Polamalu and Hines Ward didn't play. If they lose, it's same old Seattle. Then they head home at 3-2, where they could be facing back to back winless teams (Saints, Rams). So those are total walkovers, and we're 5-2. But people say that they're 5-2 because the teams they face are playing like 10 year olds.
It has to be the fact that we're close to Canada, because the only way they'll respect Seattle, is if they beat a top team like New England (with Brady to Moss), 55-3. If not, then nothing is legit. They consider that Super Bowl run not to be legit, the Romo game wasn't legit, what will it take?
It's not the respect thing, it's the fact that whenever the Hawks have a difficult looking schedule, then the schedule is much easier, then they beat those teams, nothing is considered great. On the other hand, the Hawks aren't helping themselves by losing to Arizona.NFL
