The Rockies Forgot How To Lose

There is nothing like a ball four when you're at the plate with the bases loaded in a game in extra innings. Especially if its in the post-season.
Wanna know what that feeling is like? Ask the Colorado Rockies CF, Willy Taveras. Two significant plays came from Taveras last night. He made a diving catch in the gap in the 7th inning, which possibly saved the game tying run. Then the Arizona Diamondbacks reliever, Jose Valverde who has been dominant all year, walked Taveras with the bases loaded in the top of the 11th inning. Something you'd hate to see as a Diamondbacks fan.
It looks like that lack of post-season experience is starting to catch up with Arizona, with their team that has an average age of 28.1. They are now down 2-0 in the NLCS, and it won't get any easier going to Colorado for Game 3.
The Rockies look like they have forgotten how to lose a game. They've gone 19-1 in their last 20 games. Pitching seems to be their new trend because the Rockies as a team are only hitting .211 with 22 strikeouts in this series. The bullpen has only given up 3 runs in 20 innings pitched this post-season. Overall pitching has only given up 11 runs in 5 post-season games.
This Colorado win kind of reminds you of that Monday Night Football game with the Dallas Cowboys beating the Buffalo Bills which had everyone asking, "How the hell did they win that game?" But with this Colorado run, people are probably asking, "How they hell are they winning like this?"
When they aren't pitching well, they win with the bats. When the bats are not swinging well, the pitching is getting the job done. When their bullpen blows a save, they rally back to win. When the opposing teams game tying run scores on a throwing error that was mistaken as to be an out at second base, the opposing teams runner heads to the dugout, thinking that he was called out, which takes the game winning run out of scoring position (Diamondback fans can thank Stephen Drew for that one).
The Rockies are now 5-0 to start off the post-season and they are looking for another sweep with their next 2 games in Denver. The Diamondbacks would probably would be screwed if this was another best-of-5 series, but for now, they're probably thankful.
