True, but the fact that Neil Diamond also has connections to NY does not make it ok for the Mets to play "Sweet Caroline." In fact, I think that by stealing Sweet Caroline from the Red Sox we also got a small piece of the Curse of the Bambino.
<pc font>Accusations of stealing is a serious matter. Perhaps we need to re-consider that this was merely a sharing of a popular slogan between the friendly coexistent fans of Philadelphia and New York.</pc font>
