Well folks, I never thought I would say this again in my life- but I may become an A-Rod fan once again.
Apparently, the Toledo Mudhen's have expressed interest in signing the FORMER Yankee.
You know, I think this is a perfect fit for Alex. Plus, I live 20 minutes from Toledo and it would be great to watch him play baseball in the minor leagues. People talk about the money Alex Rodriguez generates for his teams and the cities he plays in, and God knows Toledo could use a little boost to the economy. I guess there are incentives included in the contract offer for hitting 75 home runs and leading the 'Hens to ten straight governor cups. That may be possible in Toledo, I hear the media pressure is a little less there and that may do good for the disastrous playoff resume of Rodriguez.
