1a. New England Patriots. Come on, they can't be beat by anyone but the Colts.
1b. Indianapolis Colts. I tell you what, the Colts are a very good team. But it's been Brady, Moss, Patriots, and nothing about the Colts. I think after last night, I believe the Colts should be at least tied in the NFL Top 10.
3. Dallas Cowboys. Well.....nice bounce back win for Romo and crew. They stopped Adrian Peterson, continue to play great defensively (save for the Pats game), but if they play in the Super Bowl against the Pats, Colts, Steelers, they'll get killed.
4. Green Bay Packers. They had a week off, but Favre is Favre and only Favre can beat Favre unless Favre can be better than Favre. The Broncos game will be a big test on MNF.
5. New York Giants. That may have been the 49ers they whipped, but you have to love the way the defense is playing. Maybe that 2nd half of the season collapse won't come.
6. Pittsburgh Steelers. That was a tough loss to swallow against a reeling team. But the key to beating Pittsburgh is forcing turnovers, and the Steelers turned it over 3 times two nights ago, and twice in the Cardinals loss.
7. Tennessee Titans. Let's pretend that choke never happened. After all....it is Kerry Collins at QB. On the other hand, that defense got picked apart by Sage Rosenfels. Not a good sign for a secondary that has Nick Harper on their squad. Next 3 games are at home, so this could be a big stretch coming up.
8. Jacksonville Jaguars. Forget the Garrard injury, that was pathetic. The secondary was destroyed, and that Jags offense was shut down by an underrated Colts defense. Now they face another underrated defense at Tampa Bay.
9. Washington Redskins. Lucky as they are, the Skins are 4-2. That offense is not clicking at all though.
10. Detroit Lions. Wow.......how did they make it here???
And now for a special ranking........
32. Ohio State. Very impressive defense, Chris Wells is a great running back.
33. St. Louis Rams.
34. Miami Dolphins.
