The Mondays: Down with the sickness.

Happy Monday to you all. I shall now do the weekly report.

  • ROMO ALERT : Dallas Cowboys defeat Washington Redskins, 28-23- Stats: 22 of 32, 293 yards and four touchdowns.
  • Sunday Night Recap : New England Patriots destroy Buffalo Bills, 56-10- Lost in this blowout was the video speech of Bills tight end Kevin Everett. It was an emotional moment for the Bills, but it wasn't enough to stop the new "Evil Empire."
  • Brown-tastic: Cleveland Browns defeat Baltimore Ravens in OT, 33-30 - This is the best story in the NFL. I hope the Browns can clinch a wild card spot.
  • Two in a row: St. Louis Rams defeat San Francisco 49ers, 13-9 - The Rams are on fire now. Imagine if they beat the Seahawks next week, how crazy would that be?

You know, when they won the Suberbowl for the 2001 season, I was pretty happy... "how poetic" I thought. And even when they beat the Panthers (in one of the best Superbowls ever IMO), I was still not too mad. But it is getting rediculous! I don't care if the Patriots go 16-0 in the regular season, just as long as they lose somewhere in the post season... (and yes, I'm jealous of their success)

There not going to win the superbowl so who cares- Only teams that matter are Dallas, Green Bay, Colts, and NE- why bother discussing any one else?

If we should only care about teams with a chance to win the Super Bowl, then there are more than 4 teams to care about. How about Jacksonville? Pittsburgh? Cleveland? Tennessee? the Giants? Detroit? Tampa Bay? Seattle? How about the Bills being .500? How about the 9 or 10 team race for the last 2 NFC playoff spots? There's plenty to talk about than just Dallas, Green Bay, Indy, and New England. Frankly, I'm sick of hearing about ONLY these four teams, and I'm a fan of one of them.

Giants might have a chance- sorry I should have included them- the others- not the way this year has been going-- sorry- I'll bet Manny's life that the superbowl winner won't be any of these teams
