The Mitchell Report: Propoganda

Ultimately, this is the biggest piece of propaganda since The Boston Massacre. We learned nothing new today. Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte were both on the Jason Grimsley Report. Everyone already knew about Barry Bonds. Miguel Tejada was mentioned in Jose Canseco's book and was the guy Rafael Palmeiro pointed his finger at (no-pun intended).
Eric Gagne isn't even relevant anymore other than to give Mitchell his token Red Sox player to avoid the impression of a conflict of interest.
The funniest part about the whole thing is that Fernando Vina and not Albert Belle was on this report. But then again, you would have already known that if you read the Canseco book. Who, by the way, is the most honest man in baseball since Jim Bouton.
The only thing that will ultimately come out of this is to bring Clemens to the forefront. How harshly the media treats him in the future will be the true test of how much racism is involved in the Bonds issue.
Clemens is one the worst teammates of all-time and was always a guy who was all about the money. The only difference other than being white between Clemens and Bonds is that Clemens doesn't cheat on his wife (another tidbit from the Canseco book).
Otherwise this thing is a tremendous waste of paper.
