The MLB has went through a lot over the years, and the fans has seen the ups and downs from this league.
Playing in the MLB is a lot of work, but with all the criticism this league has taken they still find ways to be successful and draw a lot of fans every year.
Almost every season there's an event that everyone is waiting for, or something happen that created a big buzz.
Major League Baseball always has something going on that keeps people interested and that's how this league gets a lot of popularity.
There's always going to be fans for the MLB, because there's always entertainment coming at Major League Baseballs direction. With the talented players they have and the amount of money there able to make it makes Major League Baseball an exciting league to watch. When people look at the NBA and the NFL, some will say they can't compete with the MLB, because the NBA and the NFL doesn't have the controversy and the popularity that the MLB has.
Major League Baseball could be a great league, but there front office isn't perfect. There's a lot of controversy and bad news in this league and some of that blame should go to the head people in charge.
Looking at the MLB, steroids has taken over there league and that gives them their negative image. Steroids has been a problem for the MLB for a while, and the players that are rumor of taken them are the ones that don't need them.
This has been a down fall for Major League Baseball, and they have nobody to blame but themselves. Performance enhancing drugs is something that can tear an athlete down and when you have a league that is not trying a 100 percent with players using performance enhancing drugs, that brings a lot of problems to the table.
Steroids is something nobody should be taken, it's a drug that will enhance athletes performance, but it can be deadly in the future. If the MLB would have banned this drug from athletes in the past then it wouldn't have been a problem in this day and age. The MLB is the reason why steroids has gotten big in their sport, because with the stand that there taken it seems like there OK with athletes using this drug.
Personally, I think Major League Baseball would allow performance enhancing drugs in their sport if they could. When we see all this controversy and this negative attention because of steroids, and it's something they like because it brings fans to the games. When steroids is the image of your league then something needs to be done.
When we have High School athletes using steroids and getting involved with this drug it brings down the MLB, because this league hasn't done a good job putting a stop to this problem.
When human growth hormone is a banned substances from your sport, but they don't test for it and with the light punishments that is given out because of steroid use, sometimes it seems like the MLB doesn't want this problem to go away.
The MLB would have never had this problem if they would have banned steroids use before it gotten big. Now it's a problem that the MLB can't get rid of, because every time a player is having a good home run season, people start to wonder if that player is on steroids and Major League Baseball is one of the reasons for that.
