The Knicks: When Does NYC's Nightmare End?

How long does New York have to wait for Jimmy Dolan to get the caojones to fire Isiah Thomas, waive Stephon Marbury and begin to breathe life into the New York Knicks? It's not that the sinking ship can't be saved, can it? The situation is so bad it is beyond comical. As one senior NBA executive put it, “I could have taken LSD, hallucinated AND been a great writer and I still couldn’t have made this stuff up." Just when does David Stern decide that he has had enough and order the Knicks owners to clean up the circus. There is only so much embarrassment that Stern can stand before he feels compelled to act, so I assume that there have been numerous calls and closed door meetings trying to pressure the Dolans to just DO something about Thomas and Marbury. Of course, once that happens, the rebuilding begins - do you think the Knicks have enough tradable assets to make an attractive offer for Kobe?
