The Kansas City Chiefs Choose Green Over Huard for Oakland Game

This is what everybody is not getting. It's not an issue of "benching" Huard, it's an issue of NOT benching Green.

Id like to see if Herm pulls this same move if Huard does not have a bad game last sunday

Clipboard holder for now for sure. I figure Huard will get his payout and we'll be back to having a crappy backup in no-time (a-la Fraud Collins). I have no idea what Brodie's long-term future will be and we may not know for 2-3 more years. He started a fair amount of games in college, two full seasons it looks like. His college completion percentage is below 60 (56.2), so that's not a good argument for him. 7.34 yards per attempt isn't too bad. 41 touchdowns to 22 interceptions is reasonable. In short, I still don't know, but as the rookie QB projection article in this years Pro Football Prospectus explains, I'd feel better if his completion percentage were up and he'd played at least a third full season. I think a lot of Chiefs fans are just happy the team has finally put some effort into a young player at the position. Now either he or Casey Printers needs to not be a bust, and it's not looking good for Printers.
