The Joys of Fantasy Football

You know when people think it's pathetic when you're in a bad mood for say, two or three days after your team loses the big game (I know, these people obviously aren't completely human, and their opinions certainly can't be taken seriously). But we all know some of those people. So....is it bad to be in a bad mood when your fantasy team loses? I mean, the made up team that's based on the game that in the grand scheme of things doesn't matter at all?
This happened to me this past week, as well as many other weeks. I found myself in an ecstatic mood Sunday night, until I found out that Doug Gabriel scored 15 points in the final quarter of the Patriots game to give the other guy a 20 point lead. Yesterday, I was a nervous wreck...I needed Reggie Bush and Joe Horn to just get me 20 points for me to win.
But it didn't happen. Was I captivated by the emotional return of the Saints to the Superdome? Not really. Should I have been? Probably. I was too busy worried about my dang fantasy team, a fake team based on a game where you throw a ball and knock people over. And I was in a bad mood today, since my team dropped from 2nd in the standings to 6th after the loss.
Now, there are definitely other things that I should be worried about (i.e. the huge test that I had today, but forgot to study for because I was too busy cursing Reggie Bush and Joe Horn for crappy games). Is it a good thing that my biggest worry on the weekends and often through the entire week is fantasy football? Or should I be ashamed, or embarassed, or worried for my health and well being for taking a stupid fantasy game so seriously? Guys......do I need help?
Update: I also just lost to my roomate in Madden 07, whom I had a verrrry long winning streak against, causing me to slam my head into the keyboard and punch a mailbox. Just so you know.
