All this talk of steroids, Now opens all these questions, of who should and who shouldn't be inducted into the Hall of Fame. With the use of steroids it brings up the question "Did you really perform with your God given talent or was it the steroids?" Whats really sad before the steroid era there were players that did perform with the God given talent because of a simple voting procedure they are denied the honor of being called a Hall of Famer, including Ron Santo, Bert Blyleven, and Pete Rose. I believe that Rose did bet on baseball but my god none of us are perfect. At least he wasn't using performance enhancing drugs. I mean, he gambled. Let it go and give him his due. After all, should we go back and Ban all players in the Hall for things that they did off the field? This makes you wonder if the games that you watched with the players implicated in the Mitchell Report: Were they playing solely on talent or were juiced up? Baseball has truely had its ups and downs but in my opionion it still is America's past time and the greatest sport. I look forward to baseball finally enacting a drug policy that is fair. And most of all that works, and it bans those players that dont obey the rules. And when we watch the game every player is on a equal playing field.
