by SSreporters

With the recent rash of college football upsets, college b'ball exhibition stunners, I've compiled a (fake) list of stunners in sports history that you may not know about.

15. 72-10 Chicago Bulls stunned in 70-69 exhibition loss to Michael Jordan.

14. Miami Dolphins dominated by the bye week in a 16-13 snoozer on a last second field goal.

13. Gonzaga Bulldogs' b'ball team lose to Rutgers women's team 55-50 thanks to Josh Heytvelt stoning the entire Gonzaga team.

12. Seattle Seahawks get pounded by actual Seahawks, 33-27 after Matt said "We want the ball and we're going to win!"

11. Manny Stiles wins home run derby 6-3 over Ryan Howard.

10. Adrian Beltre stuns home crowd by not swinging at an outside pitch.

9. Notre Dame lose 45-40 at home to 11 random ArmchairGM members.

8. Notre Dame lose to holographic team 12-3.

7. Muggsy Bogues defies all laws, goes 26 straight games without Manute Bol stomping on him.

6. Shaquille O'Neal stuns 56-23 Toronto Raptors, makes 19 free throws in a row to win it for the Heat 107-100.

5. US Men's soccer team loses to Guam 4-3 after Bruce Arena re-signed with team.

4. US Men's soccer player Carlos Bocanegra went 50 straight games without committing dumbass fouls.

3. Shaun Alexander stuns the NFL, runs 10 straight plays for at least 1 yard. Final stat, 10 carries, 10 yards.

2. Tim McCarver goes on a 15 minute streak without stating the obvious.

1. Jay Mariotti: I LOVE Tyrone Briggs.

Great article, SS. I actually think it might take the 11 best football players on ArmChairGM to go into Notre Dame Stadium and take out the Irish.

NO, he got it right, ten of us could beat Notre Dame. And nine of us could beat Appalachian State.

It could be the 11 worst, and we could STILL beat them.

I could go out right now with 10 other people from the Chair and cover a double digit spread against ND

Imagine how UCLA feels right now.... I hope the Irish lose out, just so the Bruins have that hanging over their heads forever

Alex Rodriguez clones himself and fields an expansion team composed of 25 copies of himself. The team is swept in the first round of the playoffs by the Angels.

Manny winning a Home Run Derby over Ryan Howard? Come on now, let's be serious. That's no stuner... unless it's actual baseball and NOT whiffleball. :P

Love the list, SS. Number 9 is the best, BTW... but isn't really a stunner, is it?
