The Boston Red Sox recall Jon Lester to face the Cleveland Indians (Monday)

Thank God. I am going to that game and was considering a fatal plunge from a tall building when I realized that Julian Tavares was getting the ball.

Lester has looked less than stellar in most of his starts...Seeing him last year, he's got some stuff and be a starter, but, from what i've heard, its yet to return... Although...can he really be that bad?

I think he's going to be awesome. Looks like a Lance Armstrong type story. I've seen him play and as a Yankee-fan, I can say that I'm definitely worried about him screwing up the Yankee second-half comeback.

I'm absolutely giddy. What a great story. Even if he sucks (which I doubt), he'll always have a place in my heart for having the physical and mental strength to come back. God bless him.

I am looking forward to Jon Lester tomorrow but I caution all of the Red Sox Nation, don't expect the world from this man. For him to even get back to where he is, is an achievement unto itself. I am worried that we can do harm to him by putting to much pressure on him. For all things considered he is still a rookie and has much to prove. I think he can do well and I think he will be great but let's give him some patience.

Yeah, I heard about this. I can't wait to watch him. I hope that he can get the win against Cleveland. It'll really boost up his self esteem.

I know, it's hard not to get your hopes up, but he's such a tough kid on the mound. It seemed like every time he pitched last year, he got out of a MASSIVE jam. I can't wait.
