The Beast will renounce adminship

I have decided today that out of respect for ArmchairGM I will resign as admin for the time-being. Hopefully in the future I can become an admin. As for now, too much talk is placed over my adminship, troll wars, Honor Code, etc. The focus is drifting away from what makes Armchair great, sports. The politics of ArmchairGM are taking the majority of the headlines. I hope that my resignation will place the focus back on sports and less on political matters and hurt feelings. I have contributed to ArmchairGM too long to see the site act as a poor representation of the sports blogging community.

I don't think this is really necessary. A lot of things got out of hand and I don't think you should be the one taking the hit for it. You have a tendency to overreact, but it comes honestly out of passion for what you do and I respect that. That being said, it's nice that someone around here is willing to admit that they are wrong and man up about it. Very honorable move, Beast.

Perhaps this might address today's situation but much work needs to be done for the 'Chair in the future. Understood and respected Joe concerning your decision.
