Thang
"The Thang" (or, alternatively, "The Thing") is a baseball pitch invented in the early 2000s by R.A. Dickey. The pitch is supposedly a mix between a splitter and a curve, but others have claimed that Dickey's "Thing" is exactly the same pitch as Burt Hooton's knuckle-curve.
