Texas and Texas Tech Select their Starting QB's

No. 3 Texas selected Colt McCoy as their starting quarterback. McCoy beat our fellow freshman Jevan Snead. Texas will play their first game against North Texas.

No. 25 Texas Texas chose Sophomore Graham Harrell as their starting quarterback. Texas Tech's first game is this Saturday against SMU.

Neither of these was really a surprise, but it's good to finally know for sure. This is gonna be a real test, to say the least, for Texas when they play Ohio State the second week. I feel sorry for the kid who only gets a start against North Texas to hone his game before facing the number one team in the country.
