Vote

The University of Texas, fresh off a Rose Bowl victory and national title, announced today that head coach Mack Brown would receive $2.5 million in salary for the 2006 season. Brown was paid just over $2.25 million for the 2005 season.

The salary increase keeps him in the upper echelon of college football coaching salaries.
