Born on June 8, 1877 in Fremont, Ohio, Tex Neuer (John S. Neuer) played for the New York Highlanders for his entire 1 year career. Neuer broke into the bigs on August 28, 1907 with the New York Highlanders, and put up a 2.17 ERA in 54 innings pitched in 1907, his rookie year.
