Tex Mooney (Orrin Thomas born Schupbach) was born on March 9, 1917 in El Paso, Texas. Mooney attended West Texas A&M University. Mooney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Cleveland Rams over the course of his 2 year career.
