Terry Owens (Terry Woodrow Owens) was born on July 5, 1944 in Jasper, Alabama. After going to high school at Samson (AL), Owens attended Jacksonville State University. Owens made his professional debut in the AFL in 1966 with the San Diego Chargers. He played in the AFL for 4 years, playing for the San Diego Chargers the entire time. Owens also played in the NFL for 6 years, playing for the San Diego Chargers the entire time.
