Terry Hanratty (Terrence Hugh Hanratty) was born on January 19, 1948 in Butler, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Butler (PA), Hanratty attended the University of Notre Dame. Hanratty made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that 1973 was Terry Hanratty's best year.
