Born on January 14, 1952 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Terry Forster (Terry Jay Forster) played for the Chicago White Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves and California Angels over the course of his 16 year career. Forster broke into the bigs on April 11, 1971 with the Chicago White Sox, and put up a 2.25 ERA in 100 innings pitched in 1972, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Terry Forster's best season was 1972, when he posted a 2.25 ERA, notched 29 saves and struck out 104 batters.
