Terry Blocker (Terry Fennell Blocker) was born on August 18, 1959 in Columbia, South Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1985 for the New York Mets. In 1988, his rookie year, he hit .212 with 2 home runs and 10 RBI. Blocker played for the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 3 year career.
