Teddy Nelson (Theodore R. Nelson) was born on January 1, 1965 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Peabody (Pittsburgh, PA), Nelson attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Nelson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 1 year career.
